Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi met with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, on the sidelines of the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly at its 77th session held in New York.
During the meeting, they discussed strengthening relations with the European Union in various fields, enhancing development in Iraq and the region, drying up the sources of terrorism, and promoting the voluntary return of Iraqi immigrants.
The two sides also discussed the Iraqi government’s policy of promoting the principle of dialogue and calm.
