MiSK, King Khalid Foundation Cooperate to Ensure Sustainability of Non-profit Organizations

Riyadh, The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK) and King Khalid Foundation have signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of supporting youth non-profit organizations, boosting their social impact and enhancing their contributions to realizing the comprehensive national development program, according to the Saudi Vision 2030. Health Ministry: 999 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 1,005 Recoveries Reported in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced today in a statement that 999 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 421,300, including 9,587 active cases. Of these, there are 1,356 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, the statement said. It added that 14 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 7,006. Meanwhile, as many as 1,005 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 404,707. On the other hand, 68,997 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.   Source: Saudi Press Agency

Acting Media Minister Meets with Sudanese Minister of Culture and Information

Makkah, Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi met in Makkah today with Sudanese Minister of Culture and Information Hamzah Balloul. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the field of media between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sudan. Sadraid Heritage Mosque in Asir Region is Ready for Performing Prayers after Renovation

Abha, Sadraid Heritage Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in the Asir region in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it was established in 170 AH in the center of the ancient town of Sadraid, north of Al-Namas Governorate. The mosque has undergone a complete renovation as part of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Project for Historical Mosques Renovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under which 30 mosques in 10 regions will be restored and rehabilitated. The history of the construction of the Sadraid Heritage Mosque goes back to 170 AH during the reign of Caliph Harun Al-Rashid. The mosque contains an inscription at the top of the mihrab dated in the month of Rabi Al-Akhir in the year 170 AH, written by Mohammad bin Abdulrahman.
