Riyadh, Enriching Mawhiba (Giftedness) Program, organized by King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), was launched here today in partnership with five Saudi universities, with the aim of transforming 6,000 students from various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into engineers, doctors and scientists in 23 scientific units to be provided intensively over 21 days. Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced, in a statement here today, that 1,261 new confirmed cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 459,968, including 9,698 active cases.Of these, there are 1,580 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable.It added that 17 new deaths have been reported; putting the tally of fatalities, at 7,488.Meanwhile, as many as 922 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 442,782.Source: Saudi Press Agency
