Riyadh, Khamis Mushayt-based Dhamak football club beat archrival twin city Abha-based Abha football club 2-1, in an encounter dubbed Assir Region Derby, in the Southern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The match was played among the 9th game week of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Cup Professional League.
Taking place, at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City, situated at the middle house between the twin cities, Abha took the lead as early as the 9th minute, however Dhamak managed to return to the atmosphere of the match, as it drew in the 37th minute, through a set piece.
At stoppage time, in the 93th minute, Dhamak snatched a late goal to grab the 3-point of the match, while the scorer Abu Shararah emerged as the man of the match.
Dhamak with only 7-point, nonetheless is still at the bottom of the standings, while Abha was kept on the 10th place as it garnered 10-point.
