Manama: Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received President of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) and President of Al Hekma Society for Retired, Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. Interior Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and Director-General of Media and Security Culture Brigadier Mohammed Bin Daina attended.
The Interior Minister welcomed Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, who presented him with a copy of the book of late His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa. He hailed the book’s content, recalling the accomplishments of HH Shaikh Abdullah and his contributions to the nation and the world. He hailed the role of the society in serving retirees to benefit from their accumulated expertise. He highlighted the importance of the society in reinforcing voluntary work and providing health and social services for its members.
The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination between the Interior Ministry and the society to promote national work.
