Iraq is the first in the world in “Zayed Sustainability Competition 2023”

Baghdad, The Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, blessed the great achievement of the School for the Gifted in Nineveh by winning first place in the competition (Zayed Sustainability Prize 2023) in the Middle East and North Africa regions within the category of international secondary schools that was held in the UAE through their project called ( Spirit of life) .

Al-Jubouri said, according to a statement by the Ministry of Education: “Today we celebrate the achievement that you have achieved in light of the great competition with 152 international countries and 4,358 sustainable projects, and we were following you and participating step by step with your brothers and friends from the countries of the world, and we will remain with you, hand in hand to reach what you aspire to in the future”.

The Minister of Education expressed his thanks and appreciation to the parents of the students, because they gave birth to these unique energies that raised the flag of Iraq in international forums, indicating that this victory that was achieved represents Iraq’s ambition to accept the challenge and competition and turn challenges into opportunities, calling for the dissemination of the success story of these icons, who represents the imprint of Iraqi pride par excellence.

According to the statement, the ceremony of announcing the names of the winners of the competition was attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and the presidents of South Korea, Azerbaijan and Uganda.
