Iraq’s Oil Exports To The US Increased During The Past Week

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced on Sunday that Iraq's oil exports to the United States rose during the past week.

The EIA stated in a table, “The average US imports of crude oil during the past week from eight major countries amounted to 6.083 million barrels per day, an increase of 947 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 5.136 million barrels per day.”

It added, "Iraq's oil exports to America amounted to 280,000 barrels per day last week, an increase of 47,000 barrels per day from the previous week, which averaged 233,000 barrels per day."

It pointed out that "most of America's oil imports during the past week came from Canada, followed by Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, and then Nigeria, while it did not import any quantity from Russia or Libya."
