Nouakchott, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with the World Muslim League, has continued its voluntary medical campaign for open-heart surgeries and catheterization in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for the year 2021.
Since the beginning of the campaign, the volunteer medical team conducted 20 open-heart surgeries and 39 catheterization surgeries successfully.
The project is one of the humanitarian projects being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to raise the capabilities of the Mauritanian medical sector. The project aims to treat patients from low-income families.
