KSrelief Launches Awareness Campaign to Take Care of Issues of People with Disabilities in Aden Governorate

Aden– The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched in Aden Governorate the awareness campaign to take care of the issues of people with disabilities, implemented within the activities of the Response Project to the Needs of Developing Local Capacity to teach literacy students and people with disabilities on the occasion of the Arab Deaf Week, in cooperation with the Yemeni Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.

The ceremony prepared for the occasion included a silent theatrical performance, awareness sessions to alert people with disabilities, and a display of traditional costumes, in addition to presenting inspiring stories for the disabled.

In the same context, local audio-visual media will broadcast a number of special messages to raise awareness of the rights of people with disabilities and the importance of spreading sign language to facilitate their integration into society.

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to support the literacy sector, adult education and people with special needs in Yemen.
