Minister of Hajj and Umrah Inaugurates Grand Hajj Symposium Entitled “Hajj after the Pandemic.. Ritual and Care”

Makkah– Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah inaugurated here today the 46th edition of the Grand Hajj Symposium, entitled “Hajj after the Pandemic… Ritual and Care”, in the presence and participation of a number of scholars, and it will last for two days to highlight the cultural and civilized role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve the Hajj and pilgrims since the establishment of the Kingdom.

In his speech during the opening session entitled “From Hajj to the World”, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is honored every year to receive pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors from all over the world.

The opening session witnessed the participation of President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais; Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places of Jordan Dr. Mohammed Al-Khalayleh; Minister of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony of Pakistan Mufti Abdul Shakoor; and Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments of Algeria Youssef Belmahdi. The session was moderated by Advisor at the Royal Court and Member of the Council of Senior Scholars Dr. Saleh bin Humaid.
