Minister of Human Resources Heads Saudi Delegation to ARADO Meetings in Cairo

Cairo– Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, headed the Kingdom’s delegation to the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) meetings, held from 16-19 May 2022 at the organization’s headquarters in Cairo.

Eng. Al-Rajhi chaired the 113th session of the Executive Council’s meeting, where he delivered the opening speech in which he offered his condolences to the United Arab Emirates, on the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former President of the United Arab Emirates. He also congratulated the UAE for electing Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed as president.

During his speech, Eng. Al-Rajhi touched on the challenges faced by the organization to confront the (Covid-19) pandemic, which prompted ARADO to transform and adapt quickly to changes, search for strategies and use flexible tools to ensure continuity and keep pace with the challenges facing the world, stressing the importance of cooperation and rallying efforts to implement the Council’s decisions to reach the aspired level that Arab countries aim for and to serve their interests.

During the meeting, the members of the Council discussed several topics, including the Council’s approval of the organization’s strategic plan 2022-2026, which was prepared by the Institute of Public Administration in the Kingdom.

The Minister also headed the Kingdom’s delegation participating in 57th General Assembly meeting, where the renewal of membership of the Executive Council members was approved, which the Kingdom is chairing for the period from 2022 to 2024.
