Najaf Governor, New Zealand Ambassador Discuss The Possibility Of Investment Of New Zealand Companies In Najaf

Najaf, Najaf Governor Luai al-Yasiri discussed with New Zealand Ambassador to Iraq Bradley Sawden and his accompanying delegation the possibility of New Zealand investment companies to work in the province.

"The two sides discussed, during the meeting, investment files, exchange of experiences and support for Iraq," Yasiri press office said.

Al-Yasiri told the ambassador that Najaf is a stable and is qualified to be an important commercial center in Iraq for its geographical and tourist status and diversity of natural resources. It is open to international companies to establish various investment and commercial projects in the province.

For his part, Ambassador Sawden expressed his country's interest in investing in the holy province, presenting the experiences of his country's companies, especially in the field of institution building and development of its scientific, health, agricultural, educational and transport sectors.
