Parliamentary Integrity: We will prosecute mobile companies that do not commit to paying state dues

Baghdad Today, Tuesday, the Parliamentary Integrity Committee held a joint meeting with the head of the Communications Authority and the managing director of Asiacell, to find out the truth about what was recently circulated in the media regarding suspicions of corruption in granting a (4G) license, as well as debts owed by Asiacell.

The deputy head of the committee, Alia Nassif, stated, in a press statement, that “the Integrity Committee has warned Korek Telecom Company to pay all the debts it owed to the state treasury, and the committee will also follow up and prosecute any company that has not committed to paying the state’s dues in full.”
