Cairo, President of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi praised the great support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to help Sudan and reduce the burden of its external debt, praising the role of the Arab League in helping Sudan to overcome the difficulties and challenges of the transitional phase.
In a statement issued today, he stressed the importance of the Paris Conference to Support Sudan, held yesterday in Paris, in supporting the democratic transition in Sudan, mobilizing the financial and economic support necessary to advance its economy and relieve it from its external debts, marketing its investment opportunities, and facilitating its integration into the global economy.
The President of the Arab Parliament said that the security and stability of Sudan is an integral part of the security and stability of the Arab world, calling on the international community and financial institutions to support the outcomes and results of the Paris conference and move quickly to exempt Sudan from its external debts.
