Providing 40+ Age Category with 2nd Dose of Coronavirus’ Vaccine Kicked off, 1,247 Infections Detected

Riyadh, The Ministry of Health announced here today that the process of giving the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine to the age category of 40-year old and above has been started, drawing attention that reserving appointments shall take place through either applications of Sehhaty or Tawakkalna.

On the other hand, the ministry reported 1,247 new confirmed cases of infection against 1,429 recoveries, while the active cases rose to 11,773, including as many as 1,350 in critical conditions, in the last 24 hour across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Overall cases of infection in the Kingdom stood at 494,032 against 474,368 recoveries, the report said, adding that as 15 more deaths were reported, the total fatalities from the pandemic rose to 7,891.
