Reopening the Elton Kubri bridge between Kirkuk and Erbil

Baghdad, The Center for Security Information, announced the reopening of the Alton Kubri bridge between Kirkuk and Erbil.

In a statement, the Center said in a statement that "in accordance with the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi and under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command and in coordination with the Peshmerga forces in the Kurdistan region, reopened the bridge (Alton Kubri), which connects the provinces of Kirkuk - Erbil.

"This measure aims to reduce the burden on citizens during their movement after these areas witnessed a remarkable security stability as a result of the great efforts of our security forces."

He continued that the process of reopening the bridge was welcomed by the people that this action will be reflected positively on their daily lives."
