Riyadh, On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, will patronize today the closing ceremony of the National Cultural Awards Initiative, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture at the Culture Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh.
The closing ceremony will witness the honoring of winners of the 14 initiative’s awards that cover various fields of cultural activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The 14 cultural awards include the Cultural Personality of the Year Award, Youth Cultural Award, Cultural Institutions Award, Film Award, Fashion Award, Music Award, National Heritage Award, Literature Award, Theater and Performing Arts Award, Visual Arts Award, Architecture and Design Award, Culinary Arts Award, Publishing Award and Translation Award.
The National Cultural Awards Initiative comes as one of the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program, which is one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs. It also comes in recognition of the contributions of Saudi creativity makers in all cultural sectors and to celebrate cultural achievements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within the context of developing the Saudi cultural sector, which is being administered by the Ministry of Culture and its commissions.
