The Security Expert, Safaa Al-Asam, confirmed that reducing unemployment and drug abuse lies in the application of strict laws.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that no law can be judged negatively or positively before it is subject to discussions and studies before it is put to readings in the parliament.
Al-Asam added: Any law that has broad societal dimensions must take into account the movement of society and its high percentage of young people by ending drug use and loitering in the streets, especially since the percentage of the unemployed is large without sources of income.
