Saudi Jockey Club Holds its 80th Race Event at King Abdulaziz Square

 The Saudi Jockey Club held its 80th racing event at King Abdulaziz Square in Riyadh, which consists of 11 races of multiple grades and classifications for purebred Arabian horses and Thoroughbreds.
The ceremony included two main rounds, namely the eleventh round of the Japan Cup, the third category, for mares, at a distance of 1600m, with the participation of the strongest Saudi field mares aged four years and above. Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Iwai Fumio crowned the horse Avalina, owned by Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, as the winner of the race. The winning horse was trained and supervised by Abdullah bin Mishref.
