Second batch of Syrian students arrive from Lebanon to take certificates final exams

Damascus countryside, Damascus countryside Education Directorate has announced on Sunday the arrival of the second batch of 120 Syrian students residing in Lebanon to take their exams within the centers of Damascus countryside province.

In a statement to SANA correspondent, Director of Damascus Countryside Education Directorate Maher al-Faraj said that the total number of the arriving students reached 290 Syrian students, pointing out that the directorate has designated three centers to host them at the two border towns of Yabous and Jdeidet Yabous, in addition to the town of al-Rawda.

Al-Faraj indicated that the directorate has completed all the necessary equipment to host the students, in cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Damascus Countryside Governorate, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization, including securing all accommodation and transportation requirements, providing psychological support, and developing programs to establish reinforcement courses and revising the curriculum during the exams period.

On Saturday, Damascus countryside Education Directorate announced the arrival of 170 Syrian students from Lebanon to take their exams within the Damascus province centers.
