Baghdad The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, discussed with a delegation of Faili Kurds in Wasit Governorate the file of the Failis and dealing with the bad effects of the practices of the former regime against them, including repression, and forced displacement.
Abdullah stressed during the meeting: “The Faili Kurds are an integral component of the fabric of society, and more endeavors and efforts must be made to regain their rights, resolve the nationality files and transfer them from the foreigners’ residence department to the national card issuance department, resolve the issue of property disputes, settle the disposal rights, and return the lands to their rightful owners.
