Riyadh, August 04, 2022, SPA– Swedish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Niclas Trouve, praised the scientific and technological progress he witnessed in the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), expressing his admiration for the acquired capabilities, and expertise that contributed to innovating modern operational methods and initiatives that increased the reliability and efficiency of its production systems, which qualified it to lead the desalination industry worldwide, strengthening its strategic partnerships and transferring knowledge to the parties concerned in the water desalination industry locally and globally.
The Swedish Ambassador made his remarks during a visit to the Shuaiba production system (Phase Four), during which he met with the director of the Plant, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Awfi, and senior officials and staff.
The two sides discussed ways of cooperation and strengthening relations between (SWCC) and Swedish water organizations to benefit from the Kingdom’s pioneering experience in the water desalination industry, especially the establishment of highly efficient and environmentally friendly production systems.
