Baghdad, Syrian Ambassador to Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah discussed with Director of General of Company for the implementation of transport in Iraqi Ministry of Transport, Zaid Khalil Shaalan, means to enhance cooperation between the two countries in fields of transport projects ,and the company participation in reconstruction of infrastructure in transport sector in Syria.
During his visit to the company on Wednesday, al-Dandah was briefed on its tasks and achievements in field of transportation projects.
In a statement to SANA’s reporter in Baghdad, al-Dandah said that an agreement to supply Syria with products for maintenance of railways has resulted from the visit.
He added that an Iraqi technical delegation will visit Damascus to sign contracts and agreements soon.
For his part, Shaalan affirmed the company’s readiness to supply Syria the products for railways.
