Baghdad, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Thursday, that it is following up on the death of four Iraqis and the injury of another, as a result of a shooting incident in Turkey.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said in a statement: “The Iraqi embassy in Ankara, in coordination with the Consulate General in Gaziantep, is following up on a shooting incident at a vehicle carrying Iraqi citizens, on the Nusaybin-Mardin road,” noting that “the accident led to the deaths of four citizens and injuring another person.
He stressed, “we follow up the incident with great interest with the Turkish side and through the relevant authorities, to find out the motives and details of this incident.”
