Turkish MoD Announces the Killing of 3 PKK Militants in Northern Iraq

Istanbul The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of three militants of the “PKK” as part of the ongoing “Paw Lock” operation in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Defense said in a statement today, Wednesday, that one of the Turkish army units in charge of Operation Lock Claw monitored the movements of Kurdish militants in its area of ​​operations, and after an exchange of fire in which artillery was used, it managed to kill three PKK militants in northern Iraq.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish army carried out a large-scale military operation on the 18th of last April and is still ongoing, called the Claw Lock against the strongholds of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in the areas of Matina, Zab, Afshin and Bazian in northern Iraq.
