Turkish MoD announces the killing of two PKK militants in an air strike in northern Iraq

Istanbul The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of two members of the “PKK”, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, in the Zab region in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Defense Ministry stated in a statement today that the two members were killed in an air strike in the area of the ongoing “Lock Claw” operations in northern Iraq.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish army carried out a large-scale military operation on the 18th of last April and is still ongoing, called the Claw Lock, against the strongholds of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in the areas of Matina, Zab, Afshin and Bazian in northern Iraq.
