Kut The detachments of the Wasit Anti-Crime Department were able to arrest the accused of killing the educational professor Hamed Al-Aqabi while he was passing through the checkpoint of Al-Laj in the north of the governorate.
A source in Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the anti-crime detachments of Wasit, in cooperation with the Checkpoints and External Roads Department, were able to arrest the accused of killing the educational professor Hamed Al-Aqabi in Al-Hai district , south of the governorate, and legal measures were taken against the perpetrator.
The educational professor Hamid Al-Aqabi was killed 20 days ago in Al-Hai district south of Wasit, after he sustained 15 gunshot wounds.
