Riyadh, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami received here today the President of the Independent Democratic Union and Senator of the Republic of Chile Jacqueline Rysselberghe, and her accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, which took place in the presence of Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hanan bint Abdulrahim Al-Ahmadi, and Secretary General Mohammed bin Dakhil Al-Mutairi, Dr. Al-Salami stressed the depth of the Saudi-Chilean relations, looking forward to promoting and strengthening them in various fields, especially in the field of parliamentary relations between the two chambers, pointing to the importance exchanging parliamentary visits, and holding periodic meetings between parliamentary friendship committees of the two chambers.

For her part, Rysselberghe affirmed the importance of promoting the bilateral relations between the two countries and strengthening the friendship between the Chilean Parliament and the Shura Council to contribute to strengthening the joint bilateral action.

During the meeting, the Chilean delegation expressed full support for and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in defending its territories, civilian objects and oil facilities against terrorist attacks.

The two sides also discussed a number of issues of interest and reviewed bilateral cooperation relations in various economic, commercial and cultural fields, and ways to enhance them.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Saudi-Chilean Friendship Committee Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nahhas, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Major General Omar Al Al-Sheikh and other members of the committee.

Riyadh, Chaired by its Chairman Dr. Ghazi bin Faisal bin Zagr, the Saudi-British Parliamentary Friendship Committee, an affiliate of the Shura Council, held a meeting here today with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Neil Crompton, in the presence of members of the committee.

During the meeting, Dr. bin Zagr pointed to the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, stressing the importance of supporting them in various fields, highlighting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s role in combating terrorism and violence as well as its efforts to spread tolerance and dialogue among different religions and cultures.

For his part, the UK Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pointed to the importance of the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, noting to the level of development in the two countries in the past five years in various fields.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest, especially the parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, and activating the role of the parliamentary friendship committees in the two chambers to enhance the common interests of the two countries.

Later, the Saudi-Pakistani Parliamentary Friendship Committee, an affiliate of the Shura Council, chaired by its Chairman Eng. Abbas bin Ahmed Hadi, met here today with newly-appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar, in the presence of members of the committee.

Hadi stressed the importance of the fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Pakistan, especially at the parliamentary level between the Shura Council and the Pakistani Parliament.

For his part, the Pakistani Ambassador to the Kingdom pointed to the historical relations between the two countries, hoping that they will be strengthened and developed in various fields, especially the economic, investment and commercial fields, as Pakistan welcomes Saudi investors and businessmen.

During the meeting, they reviewed the aspects of the bilateral relations between the two countries, and discussed a number of issues of common interest, especially the parliamentary relations between the two chambers, and ways to advance the efforts of the parliamentary friendship committees in the two countries.

Athens, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb and his Greek counterpart Harry Theoharis have co-signed an agreement on cooperation in the domain of sustainable coastal and maritime tourism.

The ceremony took place on the sidelines of the Conference on Coastal and Maritime Tourism in Athens.

The agreement includes knowledge exchange, the best practice in the domain of investment, human capital upgrading, training, organizing activities, marketing, and promoting coastal and maritime tourism in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Greece.

Dubai, Turkish Mafia Leader, Sedat Bakr has continued revealing the involvement of a close circle to Head of the Turkish Regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and members of his party in sending weapons and supporting Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization in Syria.

On Saturday evening, Bakr published a new video clip of a conversation he had with a relative of the Turkish president, in which he revealed the latter’s involvement in sending weapons to Jabhat al-Nusra in Syria.

“The phone call I made to Sardar Akshi, owner of Lazuli Oil Distribution Company, and brother-in-law of President Erdogan, about the beating of a deputy at the police station and military supplies destined for Syria,” Bakr wrote in a tweet via his Twitter account.

In the approximately 13-minute video, the mafia boss received confirmation from Akshi, regarding the latter’s knowledge and involvement in providing weapons to help terrorists in Syria.

He noted that Metin Kolonek, a deputy from Erdogan’s ruling party, participated in the plan, in order to obtain permission to send trucks laden with weapons to them.

It is noteworthy that Bakr has published, over the past weeks, a series of video clips, in which he revealed that circles close to Erdogan and his party were involved in supporting and arming terrorists in Syria, specifically, Jabhat al-Nusra which is affiliated with al-Qaeda terrorist organization, in addition to their rampant corruption and involvement in dangerous crimes, including the killing and drug smuggling.

He added that big amounts of weapons and military equipment have been sent to Jabhat al-Nusra by Turkish Security Company (SADAT) which is affiliated with the Turkish intelligence in the year 2018.

Aleppo, Syrian clans , tribes, and national elites in Aleppo province have affirmed their support to the uprising of the locals in Manbej city against the criminal practices of QSD militia and their rejection of the US and Turkish occupation forces.

Syrian clans, tribes, national elites said in statement issued during a gathering staged at al-Taiha corridor in Aleppo northeastern countryside that they will enter Manbej to support the locals there if QSD militias do not leave the area.

They stressed that there is no negotiation or reconciliation with the mercenary murderers, and the martyrs’ blood will inevitably lead to the exit of QSD from Manbej.

It is noteworthy that on June 1st, four citizens were martyred and scores were injured in targeting Manbej city by the US backed-QSD militia, in addition to targeting other neighboring villages, which have been witnessing daily demonstrations that denounce the criminal practices of QSD militia.

Damascus, Syria affirmed that the illegitimate entry of a Dutch and a French delegation into the Syrian territories in collusion with QSD militias ,and continuation of Turkish regime Turkification policy in the areas where its terrorist organizations are positioned ,constitute a flagrant violations of international law and a blatant attack on Syrian sovereignty.

An official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that representatives of some countries involved in the war against Syria have carried out practices which constitute a flagrant violation of the international law, and a blatant attack on the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The statement said that a Dutch delegation headed by the so-called special envoy for the Syrian file, illegally entered the Syrian territory in collusion with QSD militias under the pretext of receiving a number of Daesh (ISIS) terrorists held by the militias.

The statement added that another French delegation from the Danielle Mitterrand Foundation and the Paris City Council, illegally visited Qamishli city in collusion with QSD militias as part of the direct French involvement in the aggression against Syria.

The statement indicated that in the framework of the brutal Turkish occupation of the Syrian territories, the Turkish authorities demanded its forces which are working alongside the terrorist groups in Idleb province to establish a general secretariat for the civil registry in the province ,which directly reports those forces , and form local councils in cities, towns, and villages that are under the control of the terrorist groups.

The statement noted that the Turkish authorities also asked the withdrawal of personal identity and family cards issued by the authorities concerned in the Syrian Arab Republic and their replacement with Turkish cards.

“This represents the culmination of Turkification policy of the Turkish regime ,which will be rejected by the free Syrian citizens, just as our people in occupied Syrian Golan rejected the Israeli identity,” the statement said.

The statement pointed out that Syria expresses its categorical rejection and strong condemnation of these practices, and reiterates determination to extend the state’s sovereignty over all its territory and liberate them from Turkish, US, and other foreign occupation.

“Syria called on the International Community particularly UN and its organs to take the appropriate stance towards these practices ,which constitute a flagrant violation of the international law ,and to force the governments of those countries hostile to Syria to abandon its subversive policies aimed at impeding the return of security and stability to Syria ,” the statement said.

Tunis, A number of activists of Tunisian organizations and parties have staged a stand at Avenue Habib Bourguiba in Tunis, demanding to restore relations with Syria.

Head of Mediterranean Lawyers and Jurists Association, Hammadi Bakkar, said that this stand represents a continuation of the demands of a wide spectrum of the Tunisians to restore relations with Syria, and it comes in celebration of the Presidential entitlement which had been successfully done, and of the winning of Dr. Bashar al-Assad in the presidential election.

Ratibah al-Milladi, one of the organizers of the stand and Head of Wa’tasimu (Hold fast) Organization, noted that the demands to rebuild relations with Syria have not stopped, underlying the necessity for the Tunisian Government to meet this urgent popular demand.

Head of Syrian Community Committee in Tunisia, Talal al-Hassan, appreciated the Tunisian people’s demand to restore the Syrian-Tunisian brotherly relations, stressing that the success of the Syrian people in completing the Presidential entitlement and the winning of Dr. Bashar al-Assad have affirmed that Syria has remained steadfast and has triumphed in the face of the global war waged against it.

Hassan Ziyab, a Syrian resident in Tunisia and one of the organizers of the stand, said that restoring the Syrian-Tunisian relations has become an important national issue, asserting that Syria, despite all difficulties, today has achieved victory over all reactionary forces, and it has expressed its people’s will through completing Presidential election.
