New York, The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, met yesterday, Wednesday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Switzerland, Ignazio Cassis, on the sidelines of the meetings of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the GCC countries and Switzerland in a number of fields, stressing the importance of pushing the Gulf-Swiss relations to serve common interests, in addition to reviewing a number of regional and international issues of common interest and the latest developments in the region

New York, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, met here today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Dr. Abul Kalam Abdul Moneim, on the sidelines of the meetings of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between the OIC and Bangladesh, within the framework of supporting and strengthening joint Islamic action and the commitment of the two sides to continue close cooperation and coordination on issues of importance on the agenda of the OIC, including Rohingya issue.

Luxembourg, Grand Duke of Luxembourg received at his palace credentials of Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Salim Al Harthy as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The ambassador conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik and wishes of continued health and happiness to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, and the friendly people of Luxembourg further progress and prosperity.

In his turn, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty the Sultan, and best wishes to the Omani people. He hoped to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries

People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria on the death of the former Algerian President Abdelkader Bensalah.

people.
