Minister of Islamic Affairs Receives President of Literary Club in Senegal

Riyadh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh received in his office today, the President of the Literary Club, the founder of Al-Wasatiya magazine in the Republic of Senegal, Dr. Fadel Gey, who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of his participation in the 2021 International Book Fair.

At the outset of the meeting, the Minister noted the depth and strength of the relations between the two countries.

For his part, Dr. Fadel praised the efforts made by the Kingdom represented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Senegal through the Religious Attaché and the Higher Islamic Institute in Luqa

Bahrain Two Main Indexes End Trading with Different Directions

Manama, The Bahrain General Index ended trading here today at 1,700.97, gaining 1.05 points compared to the previous closing. The Bahrain Islamic Index ended trading at 674.16 level, losing 1.20 points compared to the last closing.

The tally of the shares traded was 3,475,007, with a total value of 438,320 Bahraini Dinar, carried out through as many as 72 deals.

UK Records 34,574 New Cases of COVID-19 and 38 New deaths

London, Britain on Sunday recorded 34,574 new cases of COVID-19 and 38 new deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus, Reuters reported.

The government data is compared with 34,950 new cases and 133 deaths reported on Saturday.

Sunday’s data did not include figures for Wales, the government said.

Justice Minister to Visit Russia Next Tuesday

Riyadh, The Minister of Justice Sheikh Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani, who is also President of Supreme Judicial Council, is scheduled to start an official visit next Tuesday to the Russian Federation, during which he will meet with his Russian counterpart Konstantin Chuichenko.

The visit aims to discuss a number of issues of common interest and enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries in judicial fields.
