Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher at 11,699 Points

Riyadh, Saudi Stock Exchange’s main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 74.13 points to close at 11,699.11 points.

The total value of the trading reported was 7.7 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 194 million, divided into over 330,000 deals.

The Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day gaining 573.89 points, to close at 23,999.49 points, with a valuation of more than SR 61 million and an overall tally of 550,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 2,812 deals.

SRAF Participating in “Missile Air War Center 2021” Drill Arrives in UAE

Riyadh, Saudi Royal Air Forces (SRAF) group today arrived, with all its air and technical crews, at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates to participate in the exercise “Missile Air War Center 2021”.

Upon arrival at Al Dhafra Air Base, the SRAF group participating in the exercise was received by the Military AttachĂ© at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi Brig. Gen. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Hassan; Group Captain Ayedh bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, the Commander of SRAF group participating in the drill and senior officers.

The drill aims to develop the skills of the air and technical crews and their fighting readiness.

ISESCO, Oman Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation

Rabat, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr. Salem bin Mohammad Al-Malik met here today with the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Morocco, Dr. Saeed bin Mohammad Al-Barami.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of developikng bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture.

The two sides also reviewed an action plan related to programs to be implemented in the Sultanate of Oman in partnership with the competent authorities.

Sport Ministry to Raise Capacity for Mass Attendance of AFC Champions League Matches to 100%

Riyadh, The Ministry of Sport will increase the capacity of the mass attendance to 100% in the matches of the quarter-finals of 2021 AFC Champions League for Western Continent teams to be hosted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Saturday.

This comes based on the approval of the concerned authorities to follow up the latest developments on coronavirus.

The ministry explained that the mass attendance at these matches is limited to sports fans (over 12 years old), who have completed obtaining (two doses) of the coronavirus vaccine approved by the Ministry of Health, according to status of every fan shown on “Tawakkalna” App., with the importance of all fans’ commitment to applying precautionary measures, provided that the concerned authorities shall follow up the implementation of these measures, and take the necessary action in the event that any violations are detected to preserve the safety of everyone.
