Sudan Welcomes Yemeni President’s Decision to Delegate Power to Presidential Leadership Council

Khartoum – Sudan has welcomed the decision issued by Yemeni President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi to form the Presidential Leadership Council and delegating it full powers of the president of the republic.

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry, in a statement today, stressed its support and assistance to endeavors of the council to solve the Yemeni crisis according to the accredited references of the Gulf initiative, outcomes of the comprehensive Yemeni national dialogue, and the UN Security Resolution No. 2216, renewing its stance and support for efforts of a peaceful solution that guarantees the unity of Yemen and its territories and meets the aspirations of its people in security, peace and stability.

The ministry also highly praised the urgent financial support that was announced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE to support Yemen and contribute to alleviating the humanitarian suffering of its people.

MSX Gains 6 Points

Muscat — Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained (6.6) points, comprising a rise by (0.16%) to close at (????4247.82) points, compared to the last session, which stood at (??????4241.20) points, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.??????????

The trading value today stood at (RO 4,466,518), comprising a drop by (21.7%), compared to the last session, which stood at (RO 5,706,413).

The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went up by (0.009%) to reach about (RO 22.36) billion.

Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Higher at 13,646.12 Points

Riyadh – The main Saudi stock index closed today, up 162.89 points, at 13,646.12 points, with transactions worth SAR 11.9 billion.

The volume of traded shares reached 240 million shares, divided by more than 470,000 deals, in which the shares of 77 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 129 companies closed lower.

The Saudi Parallel Shares Index (Nomu) closed today, up 221.52 points, at 24,268.83 points, with transactions worth SAR 26 million, and the volume of traded shares reached more than 200,000 shares, divided by 1,532 deals.
