Aden – King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) yesterday distributed 34.240 kilograms of Ramadan food baskets for the neediest households in Dar Saad District in Aden Governorate, which benefited 1,920 individuals as part of the Ramadan Feeding Initiative for the 1443 Hijri year.

This assistance is an extension of relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to affected countries and peoples around the world.

Beirut, King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action (KSrelief) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed here today a memorandum of understanding with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Agency for Development (AFD), with the aim of supporting humanitarian work in Lebanon, within the framework of the Saudi-French partnership.

The memorandum was signed by the Director of the Branches Department at KSrelief, Mubarak bin Saeed Al-Dossari; the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Mrs. Anne Grillo, to represent the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the AFD Director in Lebanon, Gilles Gran-Pierre

The memorandum of understanding will include, during the first phase, the provision of urgent humanitarian and relief support to the Republic of Lebanon in the areas of food, nutrition and health, where the Kingdom will make a contribution of 36,000,000 euros, while the French side will commit to making a similar contribution within the framework of the partnership between the two sides, bringing the total to 72 million euros provided by the two countries.

This comes as an extension of the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to stand with the fraternal Lebanese people and contribute to achieving their stability and development, and helping the needy among its people, to overcome this crisis that Lebanon is going through.

N’Djamena – King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) on Monday distributed 887 Ramadan food baskets for the neediest families in Massenya City in Chad, which benefited 5,322 individuals as part of the Ramadan Feeding Initiative for the 1443 Hijri year.

The project aims at distributing 14,046 food baskets in various cities in Chad to benefit more than 84,000 individuals.

This assistance is an extension of relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for affected countries and people across the world.

Cairo — The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, condemned the armed clashes that took place in West Darfur, Sudan, against the background of tribal conflicts that claimed the lives of many innocent civilians.

In a statement issued today, Aboul Gheit called on all parties to stop violence immediately, adhere to the complete restraint, and avoid using violence to resolve any outstanding issues between brothers.

The Secretary-General stressed the need to unite national efforts to resolve the current political crisis in the country, stressing his confidence that the political breakthrough would strongly help in stabilizing the security situation in Sudan.

Abyan — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 53 tons and 500 kilograms of Ramadan food baskets in Khanfar District, Abyan Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 3,000 individuals, as part of the Ramadan Feeding Initiative for the year 1443 AH.

This aid comes as an extension of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to affected countries and peoples during the holy month of Ramadan.

Madinah — The General Presidency Agency for the Prophet’s Holy Mosque Affairs announced today the suspension of entry and visit to Rawdhah Sharifah at the Mosque from 27 Ramadan to 2 Shawwal 1443 AH.

The Agency said,” as part of its endeavors to provide the best services to worshipers and visitors after hundreds of thousands of visitors prayed at the Prophet’s Holy Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, and the increasing number of visitors to the Prophet’s Holy Mosque in Tarawih, Qiyaam (Night) and Eid Al-Fitr prayers; it was decided this year to suspend the visit to Rawdhah Sharifah during the period from 27 Ramadan to 2 Shawwal 1443 AH in order to preserve the safety of visitors and worshipers, to create the appropriate conditions for them, and to enable them to visit easily.”
