UAE strongly condemns attack on Dohuk in Iraq

ABU DHABI– The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the attack that targeted a tourist area in the Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan region, in the north of the Republic of Iraq, which resulted in deaths and injuries, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) affirmed the UAE’s strong condemnation of these criminal acts, and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence aimed at destabilising security and stability in contravention of human values and principles.

The Ministry expressed the UAE’s solidarity with all measures taken by Iraq to protect its sovereignty, security and stability, stressing the UAE’s keenness to ensure the security and stability of Iraq.

The Ministry also expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the Republic of Iraq and to the families of the victims of this heinous crime, and wished a speedy recovery for all the injured.

Supported by KSrelief, Al-Jadah Health Center provides services to more than 18,000 beneficiaries in June

Hajjah, Yemen– Al-Jadah Health Center clinics in Midi district, Hajjah Governorate, Yemen, provided treatment services to 18,851 beneficiaries in June 2022, with the support of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

The emergency clinic received 1,805 patients, the internal clinic 1,308, the reproductive health clinic 394, the surgery and dressing department 372, the epidemiological department 734 patients, and the pediatric clinic 1,020 beneficiaries, while prescriptions were distributed to 5,663 individuals. The radiology department benefited 323 patients, the laboratory 1,447 beneficiaries, the awareness, and education department 5,663 individuals, the medical referral department 27, the obstetric department 30 cases, and 65 people benefited from therapeutic feeding.

In the accompanying services, the Nursing Services Department checked 1,469 individuals, and the Blood Transfusion Department received 10 beneficiaries, while 12 waste disposal activities were carried out.

KSrelief Mobile Medical Clinics in Al-Khokha Provide Medical Services to more than 37,000 people in June

Al-Hodeidah, Yemen– King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) mobile medical nutrition clinics in Al-Khokha district, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen provided medical services to 37,883 beneficiaries, in June 2022.

The emergency department received 4,819 people, the internal medicine clinic 5,641 patients, the reproductive health clinic 1,374 cases, the Paediatrics 697 beneficiaries, the epidemiology clinic 1,009 patients, the immunization department 161 people, the nutrition department 320 people, the obstetrics department 45 cases, and the surgery and dressing clinic 562 people. Meanwhile, 14,100 prescriptions were given to patients, 28 people were referred to the medical referral department, 5,950 people were referred to the laboratory department, 3,177 people benefited from the Awareness and Education Department, and 5,607 people benefited from the health care services and the Blood Transfusion Department received 52 beneficiaries in addition to admitting 8 patients.
