Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal bin Fadhil Alibrahim, met with the Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, General Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in Jakarta to discuss matters of common interest and continued cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting occurred during Alibrahim’s visit to the Republic of Indonesia to attend the Ministers’ Meeting of the G20 Development Working Group on the island of Belitung, Indonesia from the 8-9th of September 2022.

The activities of the second edition of the Olympiad of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science “ALECSO” to enhance the capabilities of the Arab child in scientific research methodologies were concluded in Hammamet, Tunisia, with the participation of around 100 people from 18 Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, as well as Arab experts, coordinators and a representative of UNESCO.

Several members of ALESCO’s scientific committee were honored, on the sidelines of the sessions, including Dr. Laila Al-Saedi (Saudi Arabia), Dr. Abdullah Khataibeh (Jordan), Riyad bin Bouker and Dersaf Al-Banna (Tunisia), Maha Abdel-Fattah Qurtam (UAE), Abdel Hafeez Al-Hajj Sadouq (Algeria), Abker Muhanna Mohammed (Sudan), Ahmed bin Musa bin Mohammed Al Balushi (Oman) and Lubna Morsi Hussein Abu Sarhan (Palestine).

A medical team affiliated to Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully performed as many as 373 eye surgeries in Bangladeshi province of Nojan.

Over four days, starting from September 02, as many as 5500 persons had eye tests and 1.691. medical glasses were distributed, an official report said.

As many as 23 container trailers laden with different relief items have crossed this border post coming from Saudi Arabia to distribute their load over the needy in neighboring Yemen.

The consignment, gifted by Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), includes 242997 kg of food baskets, 30600 relief bags, 30600 tents, 20750 rice bags, 20500 cartoons of dates, 33 tons of medical items and 21.632 cartoons of beans.

The shipment crossed the border over the period from 22 August through September 12, 2022.

Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 85600 kg of food baskets in Al-Wadi directorate of Maareb, Yemen, benefiting 4.800 needy persons, it was reported here today.

The distribution process, which took place yesterday, comes as part of a relief operation targeting distributing more than 192000 food baskets weighing more than 20000 tons over the most needy in 15 Yemeni governorates.

Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues distributing the third phase of bread charity over refugees in Akar, governorate and Al-Minya district, North Lebanon.

The distribution process aims at distributing 20000 bundles of bread everyday over needy families of Syrian and Palestinian refugees residing in North Lebanon, benefiting 10000 families.

The effort comes as part of a relief operation targeting distributing food baskets over refugees in Lebanon.

In his cable, the King expressed pleasure of His Majesty King Charles III’s accession to the United Kingdom throne of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, wishing His Majesty every success.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also expressed his best felicitations and good wishes to King Charles III, praising the status of the ties binding the two countries, and confirmed his keenness on further consolidating bilateral cooperation of the two countries and their friendly peoples.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wished the King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland good and continuous health and his friendly people steady progress and prosperity.

The mobile medical clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Al-Khawkhah District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen provided treatment services for 8,398 patients during the period August 24-30, 2022 AD.

This aid comes within the Center’s project to support the medical sector to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
