Al-Sudani receives a phone call from the President of the United Arab Emirates

Baghdad The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, received today, Saturday, a phone call from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in which he congratulated him on the occasion of assuming his duties and his government gaining the confidence of the House of Representatives.

The phone call, according to a statement by Al-Sudani’s office, witnessed a discussion of the overall bilateral relations between Iraq and the UAE, and the prospects for joint cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

The two parties stressed the importance of developing partnership and coordinating positions to confront economic challenges at the regional and international levels, and to achieve security, stability and sustainable development for the countries of the region and their brotherly peoples.

Al-Sudani receives the Dutch ambassador

Baghdad Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani received today, Saturday, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Johannes Lindert Sande.

The ambassador delivered a congratulatory message from Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte to the Prime Minister on the occasion of forming the government and gaining the confidence of the Iraqi Parliament.

Al-Mandalawi calls for the involvement of the Counter-Terrorism Service in the operations to confront oil and drug smuggling networks

Baghdad The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called for the involvement of the Anti-Terrorism Service in the operations to confront oil and drug smuggling networks.

A statement by his media office stated that Al-Mandalawi received, today, Saturday, First Lieutenant-General Abdul-Wahab Al-Saadi, head of the Anti-Terrorism Service, to discuss the status of the device and the available capabilities, and to see the qualitative operations that it is implementing to eliminate the leaders and members of terrorist gangs and push the danger away from the country.
