Al-Badrani visited the historic Kirkuk Citadel, as part of his inspection tour of the archaeological, heritage and tourist sites in the governorate.

Head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, affirmed that the corrupt commit treason against the homeland, and they must be pursued relentlessly.

Judge Hanoun said during his visit to the Commission’s investigation office in Diwaniyah, according to a statement: “Integrity is determined to bring the senior corrupt to justice, no matter how high they are, and to return the looted funds to the state treasury, describing the task of combating corruption as a sacred duty.”

He stressed the importance of seeking to reform the regulatory system in order to carry out the tasks entrusted to it according to the laws in force in the fullest way and without favoritism or courtesy, indicating that “the corrupt, whether they are with high rank or low, commit treason against the homeland and violate their duties that they swore to perform with honesty, sincerity and honesty.”

He pointed out the importance of “citizens feeling the steps of the new commission, which aims to improve the service provided to them, and to ensure that they are not exposed to extortion and bargaining.”

Judge Hanoun stressed the importance of increasing the pace of work of the Commission’s investigation directorates and offices, diligencely in the investigation processes, and presenting emerging evidence to present it before the judiciary, so that the latter takes the appropriate decisions against the accused, pointing out that “people’s rights are preserved, and the commission takes into account respect for human rights and dignity even with the accused, confirming the principle of” the accused is innocent until proven guilty. “

He praised the work of the field inspection teams of hospitals and prisons to lift the injustice of the oppressed and hold the negligent accountable, pointing to “the importance of the state institutions’ efforts to eliminate poverty, unemployment and the deterioration of services, of which corruption causes a large part,” stressing the endeavor to redress the poor and protect their rights, as they are the first to sacrifice.

Young pikers from Wasit travel to Iran on their motorbikes

A group of young men within the (Al-Kut Bikers) motorcycle team traveled from Wasit Governorate to the Republic of Iran on their motorcycles.

Ali Al-Saeedi, head of the team, told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) “we have traveled 2000 km so far with our motorcycles, and the number is still increasing, as we will tour all provinces of Iran from north to south .”

He added that the aim of the trip is to explore neighboring countries, and we seek to visit several nearby countries in the coming days.
