Rashid: Iraq has enough capital to develop the country

Baghdad, The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed that Iraq has enough capital to develop the country.

He said in the dialogue session on the Middle East in Davos: What we lack in the Middle East is the financing of private projects and the lack of opportunities in the private sector.

Rashid added: We have to modernize banking legislation and develop the private sector, which is currently missing in the country, indicating that the government has begun to modernize and encourage the private sector.

Hammam Hammoudi congratulates our national team for winning the Gulf 25 Cup

Baghdad, Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sheikh Hammam Hamoudi, congratulated our national team and the sons of Iraq on winning the Gulf 25 Cup.

He said: We were overwhelmed with joy and he strongly reconsidered the Iraqi football sport, and the state’s capabilities in organizing tournaments at various levels.

We salute Basra – the government and the people – for the excellent preparation for the tournament, the generous hospitality, and the unique fraternal spirit with which they amazed the world, and through which they embodied the authentic Iraqi values.

He added that Iraq will remain the country of victories, proud, dear, and generous, with all its loyal sons.

Al-Sadr blesses the Iraqis for the winning the Gulf 25 cup

Baghdad, The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, congratulated the Iraqis on the national team’s victory in the Gulf 25 Cup.

Al-Sadr said in a tweet to him on Twitter: In the name of the Almighty, we congratulate our people and our Iraqi team on their great victory in the final match of the Arab Gulf Cup in its twenty-fifth edition, which was held in our beloved Iraq.

He added, “We also thank all the Arab teams that participated with us in this session, which brought Iraq back to the Arab ranks in a new dress filled with love and peace. Welcome, O Arab Gulf states, to the Iraq of Arabism and peace.”
