Intermediate, secondary school results announced

Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, the Education Minister, has extended sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support for the educational process.

The minister expressed his pride in all the ministry’s affiliates for the efforts they had made to ensure the success of the academic year.

Dr. Juma made the statements while endorsing the second term academic results of secondary and intermediate students.

The pass rate for the intermediate school certificate was 72%. Those who did not pass the final exam will have to retake it in the second round in which the success rate is expected to increase.

The success rate for grade 12 students (General Certificate of Secondary School Education) was 98.3%.

The minister said results of the primary stage and the first and second grades of intermediate school will be announced by Monday, June 5.

The minister held personal calls with the top achievers, congratulating them on their outstanding results. He also paid tribute to their parents for their tangible efforts in following up on their children’s academic achievements.

The minister affirmed that the only criterion to obtain the Education Ministry’s scholarships will be the students’ cumulative gpa.

The minister wished the students further success in their next stage in life and striving towards a bright scientific and practical future, in which serving the nation will be a foundation.

Nasser bin Hamad: Bahrain sets model for humanitarian work

Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, commended the great humanitarian role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his support to charity work in Bahrain and beyond. He praised the motivating and inspirational directives of HM the King to the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), lauding the support accorded by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the kingdom’s humanitarian march.

This came during the inauguration of the GCC Joint Charity Work Committee, which was set up in line with an initiative by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to form a coordination body for charity work and unify the GCC efforts in delivering humanitarian and relief aids in time of disasters.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed most sincere thanks and appreciation to the GCC leaders for their prominent humanitarian role and support to charity work all over the world. He pointed out the significance of unifying the humanitarian efforts through the committee to promote the culture of charity work among the GCC people.

Representative of Oman, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Suleiman Al-Shehi, expressed utmost thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also expressed most sincere gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support and keenness to unite the charity work efforts in the GCC member states.

Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the generous initiative and constant support to charity, social and development work in the Kingdom of Bahrain and beyond. He described His Highness’ humanitarian efforts at the local and international level as a model to emulate in the Kingdom of Bahrain and an incentive for the Bahraini youth to continue the path of hard work and excellence.

Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, the RHF Secretary General, extended utmost thanks to HM the King for his tremendous humanitarian efforts in Bahrain and overseas. He also paid tribute to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his support to RHF, commending the leadership of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to humanitarian work through RHF. He expressed hope the GCC Joint Charity Work Committee would help unite policies in accordance with the directives of the GCC leaders.

At the conclusion of the ceremony the GCC Assistant Secretary General for Economic and Development Affairs, Khalid bin Ali Al Senidi, extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his patronage and attendance of the inaugural meeting of the GCC Joint Charity Work Committee. He also expressed thanks to the GCC leaders for their valuable directives and keenness on supporting joint charity work and optimizing services in this regard.

Education Undersecretary: School results available online

Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater, Undersecretary for Policies, Strategies, and Performance at the Ministry of Education, announced the availability of school results online for the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023.

The results of the second semester of the current academic year, endorsed by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma today, the Education Minister today, will be available online through the students exam results digital service available on the national eGovernment portal and the educational portal provided by the Education Ministry (eduNET).

According to Undersecretary Al Khater, the results of primary students as well as the first two intermediate grades will only be available online within the next two days.

Al Khater noted that a QR Code has been added to secondary graduation certificates issued by the committee in charge of collecting student’s grades, providing an additional feature for verifying the information on the certificate.

Grade appeals will be available as per standard procedure, she added.
