KSrelief Distributes 400 Ramadan Food Baskets in Benin

Porto-Novo– King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) yesterday distributed 400 Ramadan food baskets in Borgou and Alibori governorates in Benin, which benefited 2,400 individuals as part of the Ramadan Feeding Initiative for the 1443 Hijri year.

The project targets distributing 2,400 food baskets in several cities in Benin to benefit 14,400 individuals.

The Ramadan Feeding Initiative targets 19 countries through distributing 156,993 food baskets weighing 8,430 tons to benefit 901,463 individuals as part of relief and humanitarian efforts offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to several needy and afflicted countries.

Bahrain’s Indexes Close On Divergence

Manama– Bahrain General Index closed today at 2,059.30, losing 8.68 points, while the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 732.76, gaining 4.82 points.

The volume of traded shares amounted to 5,305,320, with a total value of 1,524,495 Bahraini dinars, through 103 deals.

Senegalese President Leaves Madinah

Madinah– The President of the Republic of Senegal, Macky Sall, left Madinah today, at the end of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which he performed Umrah, and visited the Prophet’s Mosque.

At Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, he was seen off by the Undersecretary of the Emirate of Madinah Region, Wahib bin Mohammad Al-Sahli, Director General of the Royal Protocol Office in Madinah Ibrahim bin Abdullah Berri, and a number of civil and military officials.

Muscat Stock Exchange Declines 12 Points

Muscat– Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today lost (12.4) points, comprising a drop by (0.30%) to close at (????4182.51) points, compared to the last session, which stood at (??????4194.90) points, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.??????????

The trading value today stood at (RO 4,480,738), comprising a decrease by (55%), compared to the last session, which stood at (RO 9,954,796).

The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went down by (0.040%) to reach about (RO 22.28) billion.

KSrelief Signs Joint Agreement to Implement Zakat Al-Fitr Project in Yemen

Riyadh– King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed yesterday a joint agreement to implement Zakat Al-Fitr project for the needy people in Yemen, benefiting 26,950 families including 188,650 individuals.

The joint agreement was signed at KSrelief’s headquarters in Riyadh by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmad bin Ali Al-Baiz.

This comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian aid projects, represented by the KSrelief, to enhance food security for the Yemeni people and contribute to meeting their basic food needs.

KSrelief Continues Distributing Ramadan Food Baskets in Aden

Aden– King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) yesterday continued distributing Ramadan food baskets in Aden as part of the Feeding Initiative for the 1443 Hijri year, where 333 food baskets were distributed in Dar Saad District and 154 food baskets in Al-Buraiqeh District, which benefited 2,922 individuals.

This assistance is part of efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to meet the urgent food needs for needy classes in 19 countries around the world during the holy month of Ramadan.

General Presidency for Affairs of Two Holy Mosques Launches “Ramadan banquet” Program

Makkah– The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Holy Mosque, represented by the Creative Culture Administration, launched the Ramadan Banquet Program that is concerned with enriching the culture of visitors of the Grand Holy Mosque through hosting several sheikhs (scholars) before the time of iftar (breaking-fast).

Undersecretary of the administration Hassan Al-Thibiti said that this program is held daily and is part of the “Enrich your culture in Al-Haram” initiative, which aims at reminding visitors with Allah before getting them acquainted with the landmarks of the Grand Holy Mosque.

He also said that these meetings contribute to delivering the cultural message of visitors to glorify this holy mosque and what it enjoys of prominent characteristics, such as the Holy Kaabah, Station of Ibrahim, and Stone of Ismail, in addition to Zamzam water.
