KSrelief Delivers Five Alternative Classes to Lahj Governorate as Part of Second Phase of Back-to-School Project in Yemen


Lahj, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday handed over five alternative classrooms to the Department of Education in Mudaraba and Ras Al-Ara directorates in Lahj Governorate as part of the second phase of the back-to-school project in Yemen.

The director of KSrelief’s branch in Aden, Saleh Al-Thebiani, disclosed that the centre aims to support the education process in impoverished villages and remote rural regions through contributions to such initiatives.

The director of the Education Department in the Mudaraba and Ras Al-Ara directorates, Khaldoun Zain Mohammed, affirmed that alternative classes, providing a conducive environment for children’s education, will be utilized to expand educational opportunities for children in three areas of the district: Wadi Markha, Al-Sadaf, and Azafa, as well as their neighbouring regions.

This initiative is part of a series of educational programs funded by the Kingdom via KSrelief, its humanitarian arm, to improve the country’s educat
ional system in Yemen.

Three wanted persons arrested on charges of theft in Diyala

Detachments of the Diyala Crime Control Department arrested / 3 / persons accused of committing theft crimes.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the detachments of the Diyala Crime Control Department arrested 3 persons accused of theft crimes in Al-Muqdadiya and Al-Wajhiya, northeast of Baquba, and Mandali, east of Baqubah.

He added that legal measures were taken against the accused and they were placed in detention in accordance with Article 446 of the Iraqi Penal Code.

UN Secretary General: Kuwait beacon of humanitarian work, unique UN partner


Kuwait, Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, said Kuwait is a beacon of humanitarian work as well as a vital and unique partner of the United Nations due to its extensive efforts proliferating peace in the region.

In an interview with KUNA, Guterres highlighted the Kuwaiti-UN cooperation, commending Kuwait for its numerous humanitarian stances.

Guterres expressed his appreciation to Kuwait for donating $30 million to UNRWA, the backbone UN entity aiding the Palestinian people.

57 martyrs in 24 hours and 35,091 since the start of the war


Gaza – Together – The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the occupation committed 7 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 57 deaths and 82 injuries to hospitals during the past 24 hours.

She pointed out that the toll of the Israeli aggression had risen to 35,091 martyrs and 78,827 injuries since the seventh of last October.

KSrelief Team Inspects Oxygen Filling Plant at Qishn Hospital in Al-Mahra, Yemen


Al-Mahra, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) team paid an inspection visit to the oxygen gas cylinder filling plant at Qishn General Hospital in Yemen’s Al-Mahra Governorate, funded by the enter in cooperation with the UN World Health Organization.

During the tour, the team was briefed on the state-of-the-art machinery and controls at the facility. The tour took them through the steps used by the main pressure systems and how they work, as well as the pipes that link the different medical and industrial units. The plant can produce 22,630 oxygen cylinders, or 905,200 liters of oxygen per year, which is great news for Qishn, Sayhut, Messila, and Haswain districts in Mahra Governorate.

Madinah Governor Receives Tajik Ambassador


Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz received today in his office Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Saudi Arabia Akram Karimi.

The Wofoud program, in collaboration with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, offers a variety of programs, activities, and events to enrich the visitors’ religious knowledge and fulfill their cultural and religious aspirations.

PALESTINIAN WOMAN KILLED, OTHERS INJURED, IN ISRAELI BOMBING IN GAZA

A woman was Monday dawn killed, and others were injured, in a bombing by Israeli occupation warplanes on a house in Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, as the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip enters its 220th day.

Local sources said that the occupation warplanes targeted a house in Shuja’iya neighborhood, killing a woman and wounding 10 others.

They added that a number of citizens were injured in the occupation artillery shelling that targeted various areas in Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, as the occupation warplanes bombed crowded residential areas in Block 2 and Block 4 of the camp.

The occupation forces broke into the center of Jabalia camp, heavily shot at shelter centers in the camp, as the occupation troops forced hundreds of citizens to leave the shelter centers.

The occupation forces targeted ambulances trying to move inside the camp to reach the wounded.
