Displaced Palestinians arrived in Rafah since last October 7 reached one million _ UN


Damascus, The number of displaced Palestinians who arrived in the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip has reached about one million, since the start of the occupation’s aggression in October.’

‘Rafah Governorate has now become the main refuge for displaced people, with more than a million people living in a very crowded area, following the intensification of hostilities in Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah, and evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army.’the UN added in its daily humanitarian report.

The number of displaced people in Gaza ,by the end of 2023, is estimated at 1.9 million people, including some who have been displaced multiple times, as families are forced to frequently move in the Strip in search of safety, according to UNRWA.

ISRAELI AIRSTRIKES HIT SOUTHERN LEBANESE TOWNS, ARTILLERY SHELLING STRIKES BORDER REGIONS


Israeli enemy airstrikes on Thursday targeted the outskirts of the southern Lebanese town of Ayta Al-Shaab, launching three air-to-ground missiles and six rockets, followed by a fourth airstrike aiming at Ayta Al-Shaab – Debel road. Additionally, the outskirts of the town of Maroun al-Ras were also subjected to enemy aerial bombardment.

Simultaneously, artillery shelling hit the outskirts of Mhaibib.

Israeli artillery fire also targeted the outskirts of the southern towns of Hula – Khallet al-Ballout.

President al-Assad offers condolences to Khamenei and Raisi over victims of Kerman’s terrorist blasts


Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad has sent two cables of condolence to both of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi over the victims of the two explosions that took place in Kerman province.

In the cables, President al-Assad extended his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the whole people across Iran over this bereavement, saying that Syria, leadership and people, shares with them this painful loss and wishes speedy recovery for the injuried.

President al-Assad underlined that such terrorist outrages targeting the civilians confirms the extent of failure the terrorists along with their backers have reached to and their disappointment in making peoples abandon their principles and national interests including defending sovereignty and dignity.

US politician: Netanyahu’s government killed thousands of Palestinians


Washington, US Senator from the Democratic Party, Elizabeth Warren, said that Israeli occupation government headed by Benjamin Netinyahu, killed thousands of Palestinians during its ongoing aggression against Gaza Strip and created a major humanitarian catastrophe.

‘Stop bombing Gaza. Resume the cease-fire. Work toward a permanent peace,’ Warren said on X platform.

The number of martyrs from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October reached more than 22,300 and about 57,300 wounded.

Recognizing the exceptional contributions and transformative impact of these visionary individuals, the International Advertising Association (IAA) Lebanon chapter announces the launch of the esteemed IAA Lebanon Hall of Fame. Moreover, their dedication to voluntary efforts, particularly within the IAA or Advertising Association, is a key aspect of consideration for nomination.

Syria condemns twin terrorist attacks in Iran, affirms solidarity with the friendly country


Damascus, Syria condemned in the strongest terms the twin terrorist attacks that targeted on Wednesday innocent civilians near the shrine of martyr Qassem Soleimani in Kerman city of southern Iran that claimed the lives and injured hundreds of citizens.

‘Syria extends its sincere condolences to the leadership, government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and to the affected families, wishes a speedy recovery to the injured’, Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement.

The statement added that Syria affirms the inevitability of the failure of terrorists and their supporters in achieving their ugly goals.

The Ministry stressed Syria’s full solidarity with Iran in the face of the terrorist attacks and shameful conspiracies against it, and its confidence in its ability to overcome this painful ordeal.

Syria considers that the escalation of terrorist attacks in the region by known hostile sides is clear evidence of the defeat and failure of their projects, the Ministry added.

LEBANESE ARMY THWARTS ATTEMPTED ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSING, APPREHENDS SYRIAN NATIONALS


The Lebanese Army on Thursday issued a statement detailing the continued efforts of its units aimed at combating illegal border crossing.

Over the past two weeks, these efforts have resulted in the foiling of attempts by nearly 700 Syrians to cross the Lebanese-Syrian border unlawfully.

On January 3, 2024, at the Shadra checkpoint in Akkar, nine Syrian nationals were apprehended after successfully infiltrating Lebanese territory within a tanker truck designated for gas transport. The driver of the tanker was also detained for further questioning.

An investigation into the detainees’ activities has commenced under the supervision of the relevant judiciary, as the Lebanese authorities intensify their efforts to curb such illegal activities along the border.

More than 50 Palestinians and dozens wounded in ongoing occupation aggression on Gaza


Occupied Jerusalem, More than 50 Palestinians were martyred on Wednesday in the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on various areas in Gaza Strip.

The occupation aircraft and artillery shelled a mosque, the vicinity of Nasser Hospital and several buildings housing displaced people west of Khan Yunis, causing the death of at least 34 Palestinians and wounding others, according to Palestinian media.

At least 17 Palestinians were also martyred and others were injured in Israeli occupation aircraft shelling houses in Deir al-Balah and al-Nuseirat camps in the center of Gaza Strip and Rafah city south of the Strip.

The number of martyrs in the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression on Gaza Strip has reached to more than 22,300 martyrs and about 57,300 wounded, as infinite toll.

DAY 90 OF GENOCIDE: DOZENS OF CIVILIANS KILLED BY ISRAELI BOMBING OF GAZA


Dozens of Palestinian civilians, including children and women, and others have been injured, in the ongoing Israeli occupation bombing of the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since the beginnng of the aggression on October 7,2023.

14 civilians, including children and women, were killed, and others were injured, when the occupation bombed a house for the Salah family, housing displaced people, west of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

The number of dead after the occupation aircraft bombed agricultural land housing displaced people west of Khan Yunis rose to 6.

Occupation aircraft and artillery bombed homes in Al-Maghazi camp and Al-Masdar village in the central Gaza Strip, killing dozens and wounding others. There are still missing people under the rubble.

Al-Zawaida area in the central Gaza Strip also witnessed violent artillery and air strikes.

st 9,600 children and 6,750 women, in addition to 7,000 missing persons, and more than 57,200 wounded.
