Oman Oil Price Drops 1.01 US Dollar

Oman oil price (June Delivery 2023) today reached 83.90 US Dollars, comprising a drop by1.01 US Dollar from the price of yesterday (Wednesday), which was 84.91 US Dollars.

The average price of Oman oil (April Delivery 2023) has stabilized at 82.23 US Dollars per barrel, thus 1.31 US Dollar per barrel higher than March Delivery 2023.

The Minister Of Interior Meets The Governor Of Najaf

The Governor of Najaf, Majid Al-Waeli, met with the Minister of Interior, Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, in the presence of the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Intelligence, Police and Federal Security, the commanders of the Border Forces and the Federal Police, and the directors of Civil Status, Passports, Residence, Public Traffic and Rescue.

During the meeting, Al-Shammari and Al-Waeli reviewed the most important projects allocated to the security sector to develop the infrastructure of the security establishment, and they discussed a number of issues and files of concern to the security issue in the province.

A media source said, “Al-Shammari’s visit comes in order to see the security reality of the province, to identify the most important needs of security institutions, to overcome obstacles in front of them, and to strengthen security capabilities.”

Syrian-Iraqi talks on the judicial and legal field

Minister of Justice, Ahmad al-Sayyed, discussed with President of the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq, Faeq Zaidan, prospects for enhancing joint cooperation in the judicial and legal field.

Both sided discussed during the session held on Thursday drawing up a judicial cooperation agreement between the two countries in many affairs, of which the civil, criminal and personal status matters along with extradition of criminals and liquidation of estates.

The discussion also touched upon the requirements for developing scientific aspects in the judicial field in terms of benefiting from all experiences in the scope of legislation related to judicial work, in addition to exchanging between the Higher Judicial Institute in Syria and the Judicial Institute in Iraq.

At the end of the session, the two sides stressed the necessity of continuing coordination and bilateral consultation to develop a joint action mechanism.

4 People Arrested For Assaulting A Medical Staff In Baghdad

The Ministry of Interior announced today, Thursday, the arrest of four people who beat a medical staff in the capital, Baghdad.

It said in a statement, “The Protection Force of Martyr Al-Sadr General Hospital managed to arrest 4 people for assaulting the medical staff inside the hospital, by beating, insulting and threatening, and handing them over to the police station.”

MWL Condemns Israeli Occupation Forces’ Incursion into Courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned the Israeli occupation forces storming in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the blatant assault on peaceful worshipers.

The MWL denounced Israeli practices that violate the sanctity of Islamic sites and constitute a serious violation of international laws and norms.

The league emphasized the importance of collective action to achieve a just and comprehensive peace, and to stop all practices that undermine the chances of a solution in the occupied territories, reaffirming its firm support for all efforts aimed at resolving the Palestinian cause.

Arnous, Zaidan discuss boosting bilateral cooperation, especially in judicial field

Prime Minister Hussein Arnous, discussed on Thursday with President of the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq Judge Dr. Faeq Zaidan, means to strengthen cooperation between the two brotherly countries in different fields, especially the judicial one, along with the study of signing joint judicial agreements that contribute to strengthening the national and strategic security of both countries.

Arnous stressed the importance of finding new prospects and formulas for cooperation and optimal investment for the capabilities of the two countries in order to achieve common benefit.

Arnous expressed his appreciation to the Iraqi government and people for providing support and relief assistance to the earthquake-affected people.

Zaidan asserted that his visit to Damascus carries a message of solidarity and confirmation of Iraq’s standing by Syria.

Zaidan noted the importance of strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation, which reflects the deep-rooted historical relations binding the peoples

3 Female Suspects Of Foreign Nationality Arrested In Baghdad

Baghdad-Rusafa Fourth Emergency Regiment arrested (3) female suspects of foreign nationality.

The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement: “A force from Baghdad-Rusafa Fourth Emergency Regiment within the Palestine Street area arrested (3) suspects of foreign nationality who are wanted according to Article (41) of the Iraqi Penal Code and who fled from the governorates (Dohuk – and Erbil).”

A project of building some 1000 residential units in Lattakia in Cooperation with UAE Red Crescent

In cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), Lattakia governorate launched a project involves building prefabricated accommodation. for those affected by the earthquake in the province, including 1000 units distributed on seven areas there.

The total area of the project is 100 dunums, on which Lattakia province accomplished rehabilitating the infrastructure, in preparation for setting up these units over seven sites.

Lattakia Governor, Amer Hilal, said that the brothers in the UAE were alongside of the Syrians since the earthquake occurred, and extended a hand of assistance through launching of “Gallant Knight / 2” operation in implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.as they participated in the search and rescue along with their constant relief and humanitarian support.

Head of the UAE Red Crescent delegation, Mohammed al Ku’aibi, said that since the first day of the earthquake, his country constituted a team to rescue the affected people, along with establishing air relief bridges to offer food and health items, explaining that constructing theses shelters would ease pressure on the shelter centers.

A Family, Including Children, Died In A Terrible Traffic Accident In Maysan

A terrible traffic accident that occurred on Baghdad-Maysan road, near Al-Huda village, caused the death of a family, including children.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “Two vehicles collided with each other, causing the death of a family of four, two of whom died on the spot, while the two children died after being transferred to the hospital.”

Bahrain Condemns Israeli Occupation Police Storming in Al-Aqsa Mosque

Bahrain strongly condemned the Israeli occupation police forces’ storming in Al-Aqsa Mosque, assaulting worshipers and arresting a number of them, as a provocation to the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world, and a violation of the rules of international law.

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to respect the role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in protecting holy places, calling for providing protection from any practices that cause instability. It also affirmed Bahrain’s rejection of all provocative actions which threaten further escalation and violence.
