President of Turkey Leaves Jeddah

Jeddah — President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey, left Jeddah today.

At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was seen off by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region; Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, National Security Adviser, who is also the accompanying minister, Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; and a number of senior officials.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Arrives in Jeddah

Jeddah– The Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, arrived in Jeddah today.

At King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, the Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammad Al-Aiban, the Mayor of Jeddah Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and a number of officials.

Chief of the General Staff Receives Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordan Armed Forces

Riyadh– Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili received here today the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Major General Yousef Ahmed Huneiti and the accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Lieutenant-General Al-Ruwaili welcomed the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces to his second country, the Kingdom, wishing him and his companions a pleasant stay.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom through the meetings and visits he is making, expressing his thanks for the hospitality and good reception being accorded to him and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the close relations between the two fraternal countries were confirmed, and the prospects for military cooperation and ways of supporting and strengthening it were reviewed, in addition to discussing issues of common interest that support the security and stability of the region.

Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, the Prime Minister was received by Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Advisor to the Governor of Makkah Region, Acting Governor of Jeddah; Director of Jeddah Police Gen. Senegalese President Visits the Prophet’s Mosque

Madinah– The Senegalese President Macky Sall visited today the Prophet’s Mosque, performed prayers, and was honored to greet the Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him, and his two companions.

Upon his arrival at the Prophet’s Mosque, President Sall was received by the Assistant General President for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Khudairi, and the Commander of the Prophet’s Mosque Security Force, Colonel Miteb Al-Badrani.

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City Names David Henry as Chief Executive Officer

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia– The recently announced Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City has appointed David Henry as the Chief Executive Officer of the City. An industry veteran with over four decades of experience in property development, David has been leading the team responsible for developing the City from the beginning of the project towards the goal of establishing it as a premier ecosystem for youth, and a global center for incubating innovative, educational, and creative enterprises.

Fulfilling HRH the Crown Prince’s ambitious vision for the City, David is prioritizing working alongside a dedicated workforce on the project to deliver a City that will foster Saudi youth talent. Focusing on promoting Saudization with particular emphasis on women empowerment and upskilling of staff, David aims to increase the percentage of Saudi talent working on the team from the current 58 percent to reach 70 percent by the end of 2022.

David’s industry experience includes working in Australia and Southeast Asia. His career began at Lend Lease Group in Sydney, and Mur Group, a diversified property development company. David formerly held the position of CEO for Springfield City Group, a company specialized in the development of a new city in SE Queensland in 1992. As Managing Director of VinaCapital Real Estate, David was responsible for an active portfolio of 40 plus projects. Expanding and diversifying his reach, he was Managing Director of the LSE AIM board listed Vinaland Fund, and a member of the VCRE Investment Committee.

IsDB President Receives US Chargé d’affaires in Saudi Arabia

Jeddah– President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Dr. Muhammad Al-Jasser at the bank’s headquarters in Jeddah received US Chargé d’affaires in Saudi Arabia Martina Strong.

Both sides exchanged views on the economic diplomacy and means to enhance cooperation between IsDB and the US.
