Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Chairs Central Hajj Committee Meeting


Makkah: Under the directives of the Governor of the Makkah Region, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, the Deputy Governor of the Region and Vice-Chairman of the Committee, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, chaired the committee meeting. The meeting discussed steps for early preparation for Hajj 1446 AH.

Prince Saud bin Mishal conveyed the Makkah Governor’s thanks and appreciation to the committee members for their efforts during the Hajj of 1445 AH. These efforts contributed to facilitating the performance of the Hajj ritual with security, ease, and reassurance. Prince Saud bin Mishal urged everyone to redouble efforts, work collectively, and plan early for next year’s Hajj in a way that achieves hopes and aspirations.

The committee reviewed ways to enhance the positives achieved in this year’s Hajj and discussed the steps for continuous development of the Hajj system. The aim is to improve the pilgrims’ experience and provide better services dur
ing next year’s Hajj.

The meeting also discussed the work achieved during pilgrims’ departure through the various ports after performing the Hajj, discussed several topics on the agenda, and made necessary recommendations.
