Manama: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem bin Mohammed Albudaiwi met today with Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA) chief executive Jeremy Hallett in Manama, Bahrain, on the sidelines of the sixth annual International Space Forum (ISF).
During the meeting, they stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the GCC countries and the SIAA in the fields of technology investment and the formulation of space-related policies in a way that serves their mutual interests.
Several topics were also discussed, most notably Australia’s aspiration and desire to enhance cooperation with the GCC countries in the field of outer space, which would contribute to serving their common interests. In addition, the Australian side reviewed the role it could play in exchanging and transferring expertise with the GCC countries.
