Mina: The Ministry of Commerce said it has sent over 37 million food commodities to pilgrims at the Mina Holy Site on the first day of Tashreeq.
The ministry confirmed that its field teams deployed in the holy sites would continue monitoring the food supply for pilgrims by visiting sales outlets and ensuring the availability of basic commodities within the plan for this year’s Hajj season.
The Ministry of Commerce supervises food supply chains and commercial establishments, sales outlets, and stalls in the Holy Sites and Makkah to verify their compliance with consumer protection bylaws and to reduce commercial violations.
