Presidency of Religious Affairs Launches Summer Quran Programs at Grand Mosque

Makkah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque has launched its summer Quran programs at the Grand Mosque. These programs aim to connect visitors to the Quran and its guidance through a well-established scientific methodology, with a particular focus on youth. The goal is to help them engage with the Holy Quran through recitation, memorization, application of its guidance, and embodiment of its righteous conduct.

The summer Quran program at the Grand Mosque will be held from 23/12/1445 H to 4/2/1446 H under the slogan “In the Company of the Holy Quran from the Vicinity of the Holy Kaaba.” This 38-day program is part of the strategies and educational plans of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, following a decision by the esteemed Cabinet to establish the religious presidency.

President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais stated that the goals of the summer Quran program include connecting the nation to the
Quran and its moderate guidance through a scientific methodology, with a particular focus on youth. This initiative aims to help them engage with the Holy Quran through recitation, memorization, application of its guidance, and embodiment of its righteous conduct to refine and purify their souls.

He emphasized the importance of expanding the projects, programs, and circles of the Holy Quran, particularly for the youth and the elderly, stating that the wise leadership pays great attention to Quran teaching programs at the Two Holy Mosques. The intention is to deepen the connection of visitors and students to the Quran and to ensure mastery of reciting, memorizing, and understanding the Holy Book.
