‫حزب Midosuji يروج لمعرض إكسبو 2025 أوساكا الدولي باحتفالية كبرى

شبكة تلفزيون الصين الدولية: دفع الضرائب أمرًا اختياريًا في أمريكا إذا كنت من أصحاب المليارات

بكين، 13 ديسمبر 2021 /PRNewswire/ — يدفع المليارديرات الأمريكيون، وفقًا لـتقرير نشرته منظمة الأخبار الاستقصائية غير الربحية ProPublica في يونيو استنادًا إلى مجموعة كبيرة من السجلات الضريبية المسربة من دائرة الإيرادات الداخلية (Internal Revenue Service – IRS)، ضرائب على جزء قليل فقط من دخلهم، إن وجد، وبمعدل أقل بكثير من الشخص العادي الذي يكافح من أجل التعايش بالراتب إلى موعد الراتب الأخر.

وقارن ذلك التقرير بين مقدار الضريبة التي يدفعها أغنى 25 أميركيًا سنويًا وبين ثرواتهم المتراكمة خلال نفس الفترة، وفقًا لتقديرات مجلة فوربس. حيث دفعت المجموعة مجتمعة، من إجمالي الثروة المتراكمة البالغة 401 مليار دولار، 13.6 مليار دولار كضرائب – وهو مبلغ مذهل إلا أنه كمعدل ضرائب حقيقي يُعادل نسبة 3.4 في المائة فقط.

وفي المقابل تدفع الأسرة المتوسطة الأمريكية 14 في المائة كضرائب فدرالية، بمعدلات ترتفع تدريجياً بناءً على الدخل. شهد، بين عامي 2014 و 2018، أصحاب الأجور من الأسر العادية في أوائل الأربعينيات من عمرهم توسعًا في صافي ثروتهم بمقدار 65,000 دولار في المتوسط، ويرجع ذلك أساسًا إلى ارتفاع قيمة منازلهم. ولكن الجزء الأكبر من هذه المكاسب – حوالي 62,000 دولار – ذهب إلى محصل الضرائب.

Saudi Arabia Wins Presidency of the Aviation Security Committee in the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) for a Second Time

Riyadh, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won the presidency of the Aviation Security Committee of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), with a unanimous vote from the member states. Thus, the Kingdom continues to chair the Aviation Security Committee for the second time in a row.

This achievement comes as an affirmation of the Kingdom’s pivotal role and its positive efforts in dealing with the data of the air transport industry at the regional and international levels. Moreover, it clearly reflects the prestigious international position that the Kingdom enjoys in international forums related to civil aviation.

The Kingdom has made great efforts to support aviation security in the world by launching programs and initiatives of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO). This in addition to sending Saudi experts to work in specialized organizations, plus hosting the permanent headquarters of the ICAO Regional Safety Oversight Organization for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA RSOO), the permanent headquarters for the Cooperative Aviation Security Programme Middle East (CASP-MID).

It is worth noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been a member of the organization since its establishment in 1996. The Organization consists of 21 countries. The Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO) is a specialized Arab organization affiliated with the League of Arab States that aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination between countries in the field of civil aviation.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the establishment of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization along with its sister states from the Arab countries, and it will spare no effort in emphasizing joint Arab action to ensure thepp safe and continuous development of the Arab civil aviation sector.

4.9-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes off Jeju Island, Republic of Korea

Seoul, A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck off the Republic of Korea’s southern island of Jeju Tuesday afternoon, Yonhap News Agency quoted the state weather agency as saying.

The epicenter in the southwestern waters off Jeju Island was at a depth of 17 km, and residents must have felt strong vibrations, the Korea Meteorological Administration said. The agency said it was trying to confirm the damage.

Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia’s Public Budget has Signs of More Prosperous Economic Future

Riyadh, Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.

Al-Bilad, Al-Riyadh, Al-Eqtisadiah, Okaz and Al-Yaum newspapers reported in their editorials that the announcement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s public budget for the fiscal year 2022 came with many signs of optimism and hope for a brighter and more prosperous economic future.

The unprecedented numbers in the revenues and surplus volume of Saudi Arabia’s public budget for the new fiscal year have confirmed the strong indicators of its economic performance, the papers said.

Such unprecedented ambitious numbers reflect the Saudi Arabia leadership’s keenness to achieve sustainability and growth, in addition to moving forward in achieving the goals its vision 2030, through raising economic growth rates and diversifying the non-oil revenues, the papers further said.

The wise leadership has emphasized paying attention to the security and health of citizens and residents, human development, continued growth and economic diversification, financial sustainability, implementing initiatives and economic reforms, which included in the goals of its vision 2030, the papers added.

In the same context, the leadership has also emphasized the continuous improvement in the quality of life, optimal use of available resources, upgrading the efficiency and quality of government spending to enhance the growth and development rates, in addition to developing the educational environment and supporting housing plans, the papers further added.

Saudi Arabia was able, with the efforts of wise leadership and concerted efforts, despite global economic challenges, to continue in implementing the goals of its vision 2030 and upgrading national development and contributing to achieving financial balance, the papers concluded.

Successful Completion of STC Secondary Public Offering with a Total Offering Size of SAR 12 Billion

Riyadh, The Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Saudi Telecom Company (STC), Saudi Arabia’s leading ICT provider whose ordinary shares are listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange, announced today the successful completion of the secondary public offering.

120 million shares representing 6.0% of stc’s share capital were sold to local and international institutional investors and retail investors by way of a secondary public offering, the first of its kind in the Saudi capital market.

The total offering size reached SAR 12 billion, which makes it the largest equity capital markets transaction in Saudi Arabia since the IPO of Saudi Aramco, the largest secondary follow-on transaction in EMEA in the last three years and the largest secondary follow-on transaction in CEEMEA in nearly ten years.

Saudi Arabia and Partner Countries Succeed in Inscribing Arabic Calligraphy on UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Riyadh, After a successful collaboration led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 15 Arab countries under the supervision of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), ‘Arabic Calligraphy: Knowledge, skills and practices’ has today been officially inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

With its importance derived from religious texts, Arabic calligraphy has played a pivotal role in the advancement of the Arabic language throughout history.

For centuries, it has contributed to the transfer of Arab culture, customs and religious values thereby instilling a sense of pride and belonging among Arab people.

Today, it remains extremely popular and is used by artists and designers across a broad range of media, including in paintings, sculptures and graffiti, or ‘calligraffiti’. Visitors to the Kingdom can witness early forms of the Arabic language in ancient inscriptions at locations including UNESCO World Heritage Sites, AlUla and Hima Najran.Commenting on the announcement, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture said: “We welcome the inscription of Arabic calligraphy, which is the result of the Kingdom championing this treasured aspect of authentic Arabic culture.”

A symbol of Arab and national identity, Arabic calligraphy is deeply woven into Saudi history and in recognition of its cultural importance, the Ministry of Culture designated the years 2020 and 2021 the ‘Year of Arabic Calligraphy’.

Prince Badr added: “Throughout 2020 and 2021, the Ministry of Culture has worked to preserve this important art form through the ‘Year of Arabic Calligraphy’ which has further cemented the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for Arabic calligraphy and the arts.”

A fitting end to the ‘Year of Arabic Calligraphy’, the listing marks the ninth recorded by the Kingdom after: Al Ardah Al Najdiyah, a traditional dance from the Central Region; Al-Qatt Al-Asiri, an interior wall decoration applied by women in the Southern Region; Almezmar, a group dance from the Western Region; Arabic coffee; Date palm; Falconry; and Majlis, a place for community members to gather to discuss local events and issues.

Initiatives launched during the ‘Year of Arabic Calligraphy’ include a ground-breaking exhibition at Riyadh’s National Museum which shed light on the origins of the Arabic language, the development of calligraphy and the relationship between calligraphy, contemporary design and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the Ministry of Culture partnered with the Kingdom’s flag carrier airline, SAUDIA, by adorning two of its aircraft with a special livery to highlight the initiative.

SFD Participates in Rewired Education Summit in Dubai

Dubai, The Rewired Education Summit, which was organized with the support of governments, global education actors, strategic partners and the private sector, started at Dubai Exhibition Center on the Expo site from December 12 to 14, with the attendance of more than 2,000 participants from different countries. The topics focused on examining three main issues in the education sector: future skills of youths, education financing, and innovation in education.

A delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), headed by the Executive Director of the Strategy Sector Dr. Abdullah bin Suleiman Al-Sukran, participated in the work of the summit.

The work of the Rewired Education Summit aims to find sustainable solutions to the challenges facing the world in the field of education by exploring new and innovative methods, and to give participants a unique opportunity to reach a unified vision and take concrete measures to advance the future of education.
