Riyadh– Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC), has patronized the ceremony of raising the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s flag to the board of countries contributing to the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) initiative to modernize Seibersdorf laboratories (ReNuAL2 Initiative), in the presence of IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, at the IAEA’s headquarters in Vienna.
The Minister said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia appreciates the important role of the IAEA in enhancing safety standards and its efforts to support countries, as these donations develop the agency’s capabilities in a way that enhances its vital role in harnessing nuclear power for peaceful purposes. He added that these contributions are aimed at maximizing the use of nuclear technologies and providing the resources and services to the IAEA member states to ensure the safe use of nuclear technology.

Khartoum– King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed yesterday 14 tons of food baskets in the Red Sea State, Sudan, benefiting 1,336 people.
This comes within the KSrelief initiative to help needy families in Sudan for the year 2022.

Riyadh– The Ministers of Labor of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held their eighth meeting here today, chaired by Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, who is the chair of the current session, with the participation of GCC Secretary-General Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf.
The meeting discussed a number of issues of common interest, including the decisions of the Supreme Council in labor and the results of the Business Development Study Committee, the memorandum of the Executive Office on the strategy of joint Gulf in labor and manpower, and the memorandum of the Executive Office on international cooperation and the experiences of member states.

Tabuk– The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC) has revealed design plans for its state-of-the-art Marine Life Institute.
It will accelerate conservation-driven research, while offering visitors truly multidimensional experiences that bridge educational exhibitions with adventure-filled excursions.
“With 10 zones that provide everything from augmented reality experiences to night diving, and spaces for the scientific community to effectively progress their environmental projects, the Marine Life Institute is undeniably unique. Not only will it drive global green and blue innovations, it will also help put Saudi Arabia on the map for travelers seeking trips that enrich their lives”, said John Pagano, CEO of TRSDC.
“The institute will live in the Triple Bay marina at AMAALA, but is the beating heart of our broader ambitions to protect and enhance the thriving Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. Through our expanding portfolio of projects we will share our valuable scientific discoveries with the world and enable our guests to experience the true beauty of our thriving coral reefs”, he added.
Expected to host up to 650 people at any one time, guests will be able to walk underwater, snorkel with rare species, participate in lab tours and dive the depths of the Red Sea in a submarine.
A testament to TRSDC’s coral farming operations, the facility will also be home to one of the world’s largest man-made reefs, measuring an astonishing 40 meters long and 10 meters deep and providing an epic “Grand Reveal” moment for visitors on arrival.
Set within the AMAALA destination on the west coast of Saudi Arabia and located on the waterfront of Triple Bay, the 10,340 square meter institute will comprise three levels – one above ground and two below – and offer stunning panoramic views of the Red Sea and the marina.

Islamabad– The team of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued to distribute various relief aid to people affected by the floods in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
As many as 1,520 food baskets were distributed on Saturday in Sindh and Punjab provinces, benefiting 10,640 people.
These efforts come within the Saudi relief airlift that dispatched, under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to support the Pakistani people who have been affected by torrential rains, which swept a number of cities and regions there.

Jeddah– HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, and Deputy Prime Minister received a phone call today from the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Liz Truss.
During the call, HRH the Crown Prince expressed his condolences to the Prime Minister on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, and also congratulated King Charles III on his accession to the throne.
HRH the Crown Prince offered congratulations on the occasion of her election as prime minister, wishing her success in her duties, and looking forward to working together for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
The UK Prime Minister expressed her thanks and gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince for his role in the prisoner swap deal, which resulted in the release of five British prisoners. The Crown Prince and the UK PM also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to develop them within the framework of the Saudi-British Strategic Partnership Council.

Tbilisi– The Attorney General, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mojeb, has headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation participating in the International Association of Prosecutors conference, which was held today in Tbilisi.
On the sidelines of the conference, Attorney General held several bilateral meetings with a number of parliaments of some European countries and discussed means of joint cooperation.

Riyadh– Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib stressed the importance of boosting cooperation towards building a more sustainable future for the tourism sector in the G20 countries, facing the main challenges that resulted from the Corona pandemic, and collective action for the renaissance of the tourism sector, after the pandemic had cast a heavy shadow on the sector, reiterating the importance of partnerships between the public and private sectors, and cooperation in shaping the future of the sector.

This came during the G20 tourism ministers meeting for 2022 hosted by Indonesia, in which ministers from around the world participated under the slogan “Recover Together, Recover Stronger.”

Al-Khatib said, “The tourism industry has been hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, and cooperation is needed to achieve recovery to build a better future and to create a sector that is more capable of providing wealth and opportunities in places where they are most needed.”
